Gamepark Holdings of Korea to Roll Out Handheld Gaming Device

To compete with Sony's PSP and Nintendo's DS, Korean Gamepark Holdings is planning to roll out a gaming device featuring a 2D accelerator, dual CPU, and audio/video functionality in Korea and Europe at the end of November 2005. The gaming device, which comes with a 3.5" TFT LCD, can play files in MPEG, XVID, DIVX, and AVI formats. Gamepark Holdings expects to develop more than ten GP2X games by the end of 2005.
